How the Bundle Profit Calculator works
A bundle pays one referral fee and one FBA fee for several items, which is why bundles can out-earn the same items sold separately. Against that you have packaging, assembly labor and a bigger, heavier package.
Enter each component's cost and the calculator shows profit, margin and ROI for the bundle, and, if you enter the separate-sale profit, how much bundling adds.
Formula
- Component cost = Sum of component costs
- Bundle cost = Components + Packaging + Labor + Inbound shipping
- Net profit = Bundle price − Bundle cost − Referral − FBA − Storage − Ads − Returns
- Extra vs separate = Bundle net profit − Sum of separate net profits
Example
Three items costing $6.85 in a $24.99 bundle net about $8 per bundle at 32% margin.
Frequently asked questions
Does Amazon allow any bundle?
Bundles must be complementary items sold as one unit with one UPC and must follow Amazon's bundle policy; check the category rules before listing.
Why is the FBA fee often higher for a bundle?
The combined package is larger and heavier, which can push it into a higher size tier. Enter the bundle's dimensions, not the components'.
